Do you have the Gout ?

Hello family. I just had two attacks of Gout in two weeks. If you never heard of it, it is an arthritic disease that attacks weakened or previously hurt joints. Talk about pain !!!!! From my understanding, it is caused by a buildup of uric acid in your system that forms crystals on the affected joints. I got relief but I had to leave work because of it. I think I have it back under control with prescription meds. It's not chronic with me it seems to hit me in the first part of the summer. If you have a natural remedy I'd like to hear from you. Here's an excerpt from an article I found online :

The importance of vitamins and minerals cannot be stressed enough, healthy cells are vital to uric acid maintenance within the blood supply. They are essential to all living things as a source for vitality, cell protection & metabolism, and health in general. With few exceptions, vitamins are primarily not manufactured by the body so they must be obtained through diet and dietary supplements. Unfortunately, obtaining enough through our diet has become increasingly difficult. This is true for several reasons:(1) Poor food choices by the typical diet that do not contain nearly enough vitamins that the body requires.(2) Many of our food choices come from processed selections which hold very little if any nutrient value and often times contains more harmful substances than any of the good micro nutrients that should be naturally found in them.

(3) Many cooking methods like frying or high direct heat cooking (microwaves, grill, broiler) actually leach the vitamins from the food and from the body as well. These methods can actually cause chemical altering of the food's original state and even add unwanted substances to the body.(4) Our once nutrient rich soil in which our food grew in has been altered by chemicals such as pesticides and other outside environmental sources also adding to the lack of available nutrients within. Our crops are chemically forced to grow faster but not better. Many are picked before they are ripe and then forced to appear ripe with unconventional methods instead of ripening on their own naturally.Granted you will still obtain trace amounts of vitamins and minerals from the diet, and even more if you are more careful with selection and cooking methods, but with the above factors it is that much more important that you provide the body with another source from a dietary supplement.Uric acid is created by the foods we eat at a rate of about 30 to 40%. The rest is created by cellular degeneration. Cells break down for several reasons. For one they simply naturally die and another is a failure to have enough vitamins and minerals available to form properly. They end up breaking down at a faster rate than they actually should. This is why gout becomes more prevalent as we get older and our cells are dying at faster rates. The older we get, the faster cells break down and the more physical problems we tend to have. With some antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and herbs we can slow the natural process down a bit resulting in less uric acid production and an increase our cells and cell life. We are all going to get old, that is inevitable, but we can control whether we age slowly with good nutrition and then quicker just the last few years or age faster and have many many years of poor health loaded with bottles upon bottles of prescription drugs in our cabinets.

Heed this if you are prone to Gout, It had me calling Jesus that day !
Until next time, take care .
