Closer to Harvest/ Gardening

Let this be known as the year of the tomato.  There’s at least twenty on the vines now. Another week  or so. The Squash is still kind of small, the leaves are huge, but the veggies are tiny. To my surprise, my Sunflower is about 3 1/2 feet.(Giant Russian grows to 8 feet) Can’t see the ground any more !

These Zinnias are perfect for a couple of purposes, beauty and protection to keep out small animals.

This is the flowering Squash, open during the day and closed at night. Won't be long now .
