Hello greetings family I've added a link which I believe should have been here a long time ago. The American Cancer Society. We can donate right from this site. Although Cancer treatments have come a long way in just 5 years, there is still a long way to go for a cure. My faith tells me there is a cure, but not without more research and funding. I know we are in a recession but with out work like this, we will fall behind. It is important and I am pleading for family to give a little towards a cure. Home Going Services for Mrs.Bettye J. (Hairston) Tyree

On Friday May 22, 2009. Bettye J. Tyree was called to glory. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John B. Tyree. Two sons, Jimmy and Brian, One grandson John. And a host of family and friends. She was former President of The Tarheel Quilters Club. A quiet and outstanding Citizen, Mother, Grandmother, and friend has gone home to be with the lord.

Family Hour will be (may change) Wednesday May 27, 2009 from 7-8 P.M. at the Wiseman Mortuary Inc. 431 Cumberland St., Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301 Phone 910-483-7111

Home going Service will be held Thursday May 28, 2009 at the Wood Memorial Chapel, Bldg 8755 on Ardennes Street, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 at 11:00 A.M. The Interment will be at Sandhills State Veteran's Cemetery at 12:00 noon. Details for repass will follow.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that a contribution be made to The American Cancer Society in her Name. Bettye J. Tyree.

The father of five children had won a toy at a raffle. He called his kids together to ask which one should have the present. "Who is the most obedient?" he asked. "Who never talks back to mother? Who does everything she says?" Five small voices answered in unison. "Okay, dad, you get the toy."

Hello Family greetings. I was watching the news today and I heard about the possibility of some one trying to invite you to be a friend on Facebook. Now I guess we all have creditors and or calls with intent to collect money. I hope as we are just about all on Facebook, that we are being careful about the information we put about ourselves out there. Don't put very personal information just for our own protection. If you run across a site that you never heard of, check it out first. It could mean trouble ! With the market being the way it is you may think you've seen it all, just be warned.

Do you know your BMI ? Oh what is BMI ? It's your Body Mass Index. I'm not an authority on it but I do know it can be allot of trouble health wise as we grow older, if it's not right. Find out how close you are to your designated BMI and take steps to get closer or right on target, and try to stay there. There are many health sites that have calculators for your BMI. I can get you information if you are interested just email me.
